TV Planner began as a quick prototype that very quickly went into alpha. The massive amounts of data being filtered and fed were exciting enought to see this project get realized. Today, like most projects, it is going through another phase to meet compliancy with the latest style guide I designed for the Comcast brand.
Some critical specifications were considered before commencement. Screen resolutions and load time were among these and at the top of my list. I stripped as many unnecessary graphics as possible to lessen the page weight. The size of each component was heavily scrutinized as every pixel counted on all screen resolutions. The colors were kept light with everything clickable (text) being blue and all buttons with enough texture to look actionable. |
